Came for the lunch prefix menu. Drinks were really great. Our server was wonderful. I had the grilled octopus as my appetizer. For my entree, I had to sirloin (medium) and for dessert, I had chocolate ice cream. The drinks were great. I had the Love Potion # 3 and Aperol Spritz. Beautiful venue. Great ambiance.

We came again to participate in restaurant week. Their menu really is one of the best. The service is always the best, the dishes are delicious, and the decor is very elegant. First, they seated us in the same beautiful dining room as the fireplace. Towards the end of our meal, the nice server brought out our dessert and sang to my soulmate for his birthday. We had a wonderful evening thanks to the crew at The Sea Fire Grill! We'll be back for more!!

Great spot! We enjoyed all our dishes here. For appetizers, you cannot go wrong with the lobster bisque (good amount of lobster) or grilled Spanish octopus. The NY strip is so good (comes out sizzling), the rib eye is tender and if you're a fan of seafood, get the squid ink with lobster. Food: 4/5 They were a bit busy on the weekend but I think service was fine. Great ambiance (not too stuffy but also fancy enough). Great spot to do a client lunch or family dinner. Ambiance: 4/5 Cocktails were also cute and yummy.

I came to this restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's 29th birthday. We were greeted pleasantly by the front staff and promptly brought to our table . For drinks , we ordered the sidecar and paper airplane. Both drinks were strong and flavorful 8/10. In this restaurant they bring out complimentary warm bread and crackers paired with a trio of butter, olive oil and this AMAZING white fish and mascarpone cheese spread . Omg that fish spread with the warm bread is so so soooo flavorful. That alone was a solid 10/10 . For appetizers, which were my favorite meals of this dining experience were, -Oysters Rockefeller - so fresh and perfect amount of parmesan cheese 10/10 -Lobster bisque - SO CREAMY AND FRESH 10/10 -Burrata 8/10 Entrees, were good but definitely didn't top the appetizers, -Alaskan king crab legs - my boyfriend said they were good but not worth the price point of $150 - 8/10 -SFG surf and turf , this steak was really really good, a 12 oz filet mignon but I thought that the shrimp and lobster could of had more favor but overall a tasty dish. 8/10 Sides : Herb fries 8/10 , lobster Mac and cheese 8/10 We ended the night with creme brulee for dessert which was good but not memorable. Overall , I would definitely come back to this restaurant. Fresh food, great staff, nice ambiance !

Came for a luncheon ENTRANCE - can't miss the blue awning on the street HOSTESS - extremely nice at the podium. While early allowed me to wait at the bar. The bar tender was setting up and got me a drink while I wait for restaurant to officially open in 20 min. DECOR - very posh and elegant. Sharp looking modern design tables. A few seating areas and a private section. BAR - definite full stock but relatively small. Perhaps 10-12 can be seated. But there are 4 high chair tables to sit 2-4 for conversational engagement. The bar tender is super nice and attentive. While waiting had a glass of Cabernet that was good for bar stock. MENU - pretty extensive with choices abound with and great specials WAITER - super service with jokes and nice conversation APPETIZERS - we designed a family style option with tastes for the 7 of us. The shrimp, prawns, bursts, octopus and scallops were delicious ENTREES - did traditional porter house stake for myself. Prepared perfectly and not very salty. The sides of Brussel sprouts and finger land potatoes were great DESERT - did not try but the cappuccino was very good PRICE - excellent meal that for 7 people without tax and tip was $1,100 so the person gives it $$$$$ Overall - excellent but you get what you paid for

Loved it here! It's a great place for a big group (which is what I went for, a big group celebrating a birthday). The service is great and the menu had a good variety of food even though it is mostly seafood focused so there was something for everyone. I'm not sure if they have vegan options but it was great otherwise. I love, loved the service. The waiter was so kind, thoughtful and funny. He explained everything thoroughly and was very patient. I loved the food. There wasn't anything I didn't like. I tried the octopus, calamari, shrimp cocktail, surf and turf, salmon, lobster mac and cheese, a piece of the tomahawk steak and an apple crumble for dessert. All of it was great! The ambiance is nice and the volume of the restaurant was kind of loud but not loud enough to drown the sounds of my screaming toddler (sorry everyone, he really didn't want his diaper changed). They do have high chairs but no changing station, unfortunately. The bathroom is very small (2 stalls) so maybe there's no room for the changing station but we made do on the window ledge of one of the stalls. Anyhoo, all-in-all, yes. I would recommend it here and would definitely come back. Thank you, Sea Fire Grill for the great experience!

Really nice upscale seafood/steakhouse restaurant in Midtown East. They have a nice $45 3-course lunch prix fixe menu, which is what I ordered from. Spanish Octopus (appetizer) - The octopus was cooked surprisingly well: nice and tender and not too chewy at all. The onions, peppers, and capers also complemented the flavor nicely and added a bit of sweetness. The portion size was a little small though, as it was just a little bit of octopus in the middle of a massive plate. Junior New York Sirloin (entree) - I was a bit disappointed by this steak. They charred it too much to the point where it just tasted burned and that charred flavor and crunchiness definitely took away from the rest of the meat. Apart from that, it was sort of just a normal steak that I honestly could've cooked at home. Tiramisu (dessert) - This was delicious and more of a chocolately flavor as opposed to a coffee flavor (which I personally liked). It was a good fluffy consistency and even had two chocolate sticks in it. The environment here is definitely on the upscale / classy side, with white tablecloths and a spacious seating area. I came for a Monday lunch so not surprisingly, there were only a couple tables occupied at the time. The staff are very professional, friendly, and helpful. The service speed is decent. Overall, I think Sea Fire Grill is a good option if you are looking for a nice lunch/dinner either for a personal celebration, to treat yourself, or for a business meal. While the food could've used a few minor improvements, I am still glad I decided to come here.
